Make Money Online With Text Link Ads

Put your Text Link Ads above the fold:
Advertisers can count the number of clicks they get so it is very important to place the ad script in an area where your visitors will see and click. By improving the positioning of your ads on your web site you will sell more ads and will get a higher rate of renewal.
When a visitor wishes to advertise on your site, he will see if his link will be placed on an area where visitors of that site will notice. If you are placing the ad script on your sidebar, place them at the top where your visitors can see.
Place the ad script on the left side of your page:
You can choose where to place the links on your site, but remember that certain places can get you more money. You can use the Text Link Ads calculator to see how much a link is worth on your site depending on where you put it and whether you chose to offer a single page or a site wide link. The left side of your page can earn you the most and the link worth decreases as you move to the right side.

Choose how many ads you would like to display:
As a publisher you can choose how many ads you would like to display, and whether they will appear on a single page or sitewide. Be careful on what you choose because this will affect on how much each link on your site will cost. The more Ads you choose to appear, the lesser will be the price per link.
Update your Category Listing:
You can now update the category listing in the TLA marketplace anytime by logging into the “Edit Your Listings” page. Then click on “edit site details” and you will find the category selections in step two of the wizard. You can designate two unique areas where your site will be listed.
Choose two categories that best describes your site. This will help you get more advertisers, which translates into more money.
Increase your number of pages:
The more pages your site has, the more number of pages the Advertiser’s link will appear on. If you have a blog, write more posts to increase the number of pages and this will help you attract more advertisers.
Increase your Alexa Rank and Google Page Rank:
Get a higher ranking for your site and it will attract more advertisers and will get you a higher price per link.
Dosh Dosh has a good article on 20 Quick Ways to Increase Your Alexa Rank.
Contact TLA:
After your site gets a better Alexa and Google Page Rank, contact TLA and ask them to increase your links monthly price if they have not. Also, make sure that the link price is not too high or else you may not get new Advertisers for your site.
But remember that your old advertisers will still continue renewing at the old price. It happened to me.
Text Link Ads also has an affiliate program that will pay you $25 for any referred visitor that is accepted into their publisher program and installs the advertising script on their site for seven days. If you refer an advertiser who purchases an advertisement, the referral will appear in your affiliate account within 24 hours.

Make Money With Kontera

Kontera’s ContentLink is a double underlined contextually relevant keyword on a web page that upon mouse-over opens a small bubble like box that displays and links to an ad from one of Kontera’s advertisers.

When a visitor clicks the in text advertisement, they will be taken to the advertiser’s web site and the publisher will make money online. With ContentLink, advertisers reach their targeted audience on a Cost Per Click (CPC) basis.

Kontera

Why should I use Kontera?

Kontera’s ContentLink can be a nice source of additional revenue along with Adsense and other advertising programs you use, without taking any extra space on your web page. ContentLink is now my second biggest earner after AdSense and it has not affected my AdSense CTR so far. So if you wish to make money online with your web site, try out Kontera.

Can I use Kontera’s Contentlink and AdSense together?

Yes. AdSense now allows other contextual ads on the same page as long as they do not look the same as AdSense ads, so you don’t have to worry about violating Google’s TOS.

How can I earn more with Kontera?

Kontera works best with web sites that have a lot of textual content and traffic (that is why they have a requirement of 500,000 pageviews per month). The more pages your visitors view, the higher chance of them to view and click an ad.

Just like in AdSense, to earn more from Kontera you will need to increase your site traffic.

Qualifications needed to be accepted as a publisher

Inorder for your site to get accepted by Kontera, your site must

  • generate more than 500,000 page impressions per month
  • be content-rich with more than 50 words per page on the majority of the site
  • use English as the primary language

Even though ContentLink requires your site to have 500,000 page impressions per month to get accepted, I have seen sites with low traffic get accepted. Even this site got accepted without having 500,000 page impressions per month.

What to do after getting accepted by Kontera?

The first thing to do after getting accepted by Kontera is to insert their code on all pages of your site (right before the closing HTML tag) so that their servers can scan your content and serve the best matching ads. If you are using a WordPress blog, you will have to put the code in your theme’s footer.php.

During the first two weeks Kontera will conduct an optimization process on your site, so you may not earn so well during this period.

How do I increase my Kontera CTR?

To increase your CTR (Click Through Rate), you may want to change your Kontera’s link color to match your site’s link color.

You can change the link color in your Kontera’s ad codes. The line which controls link color is

var dc_AdLinkColor=’#2277dd’;

Change the above hex code to match your site’s link color.

How do I limit Kontera ContentLink ads to the main content?

When you first place Kontera’s ad code on your site, you will find ads placed all over your web page (sometimes even on your blog’s sidebar and headers). To control the placement of ContentLink ads on your web page you will need to use DIV tags.

When you apply them on your pages, ContentLink ads will appear only on the text that is between these tags.

Use the DIV tags in the following way

Text you want the ContentLink ads to appear on

You can use the DIV tags as many times as you would like on a single page.

How to restrict ContentLink ads on certain areas of a page?

If you would like to restrict ContentLink ads on certain areas, use the following Span filter tags

Text you don't want ContentLink ads to appear on

Aerosmith I dont wanna miss a Thing Video

Lyrics:

I could stay awake just to hear you breathing
Watch you smile while you are sleeping
Far away and dreaming
I could spend my life in this sweet surrender
I could stay lost in this moment forever
Well, every moment spent with you
Is a moment I treasure

I don't wanna close my eyes
I don't wanna fall asleep
'Cause I'd miss you, babe
And I don't wanna miss a thing
'Cause even when I dream of you
The sweetest dream will never do
I'd still miss you, babe
And I don't wanna miss a thing

Lying close to you
Feeling your heart beating
And I'm wondering what you're dreaming
Wondering if it's me you're seeing
Then I kiss your eyes and thank God we're together
And I just wanna stay with you
In this moment forever, forever and ever

I don't wanna close my eyes
I don't wanna fall asleep
'Cause I'd miss you, babe
And I don't wanna miss a thing
'Cause even when I dream of you
The sweetest dream will never do
I'd still miss you, babe
And I don't wanna miss a thing

I don't wanna miss one smile
I don't wanna miss one kiss
Well, I just wanna be with you
Right here with you, just like this
I just wanna hold you close
Feel your heart so close to mine
And stay here in this moment
For all the rest of time

Don't wanna close my eyes
Don't wanna fall asleep
'Cause I'd miss you, babe
And I don't wanna miss a thing
'Cause even when I dream of you
The sweetest dream will never do
'Cause I'd still miss you, babe
And I don't wanna miss a thing

I don't wanna close my eyes
I don't wanna fall asleep
'Cause I'd miss you, babe
And I don't wanna miss a thing
'Cause even when I dream of you
The sweetest dream will never do
I'd still miss you, babe
And I don't wanna miss a thing

Don't wanna close my eyes
Don't wanna fall asleep, yeah
I don't wanna miss a thing

Iron Miden Fear of The Dark Video

Lyrics :

[Harris]

I am a man who walks alone
And when I'm walking a dark road
At night or strolling through the park

When the light begins to change
I sometimes feel a little strange
A little anxious when it's dark.

Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have constant fear that something's always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someone's always there

Have you run your fingers down the wall
And have you felt your neck skin crawl
When you're searching for the light ?
Sometimes when you're scared to take a look
At the corner of the room
You've sensed that something's watching you.

Have you ever been alone at night
Thought you heard footsteps behind
And turned around and no-one's there ?
And as you quicken up your pace
You find it hard to look again
Because you're sure there's someone there

Watching horror films the night before
Debating witches and folklore
The unknown troubles on your mind
Maybe your mind is playing tricks
You sense,and suddenly eyes fix
On dancing shadows from behind.

Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a constant fear, thought you heard
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someone's always there.

When I'm walking a dark road
I am a man who walks alone

The Daily Schedule Of A Blogger

The astute online business owner is keenly aware of the benefits from daily blogging and having a sound blog design solution. Maintaining a blog may seem tedious and some marketers are simply unaware of the advantages that it offers, but the savvy web site owners have a complete understanding of why this tool should be a part of every business arsenal. In order to produce more business and add more funds to the bank vault, many online business professionals employ the use of blogs on a daily basis. Having such a presence on the internet is much simpler than many online marketers may realize.

The online business novice should start with a blog engine marketing search and find a niche that is suitable for his/her online goals and objectives. When choosing a blogging host, the online business owner should consider the top two sites that are search engine friendly and have a solid reputation for providing quality service. Those two sites are WordPress and Blogger. Both are considered to be the most formidable blogging sites on the internet and are certainly the most popular. Various templates are provided by each service and it is highly recommended due to ease of use and professional appearance. Too, several online services provide templates for business and personal use and can be found with a diligent search on the internet.

Online marketers are continuously searching for the best online blogging business tip and there are a few secrets which serve to assist in any online campaign that is successful. First, blogs do not need to have lengthy entries or eloquently written material. A few sentences each day with pertinent information will suffice and each entry should be accompanied with a signature and a backlink to the main web site. The content should be relevant and interesting or exciting enough to attract visitors and responses. Strategic keywords need to be embedded within the daily entry and should not be overused. Pictures and graphics can be scattered throughout the blog and could add a certain character and flair, but are truly not necessary. Interactive polls and surveys will undoubtedly attract more internet surfers which, in turn, will draw them to the main site for potential transactions.

Online business marketers who engage in a blogging campaign will inevitably seek to have the best blog design solution possible and should succeed with the right tools and planning. Too, blogging is not necessarily time consuming and it's an easy to use strategy for obtaining online traffic.

How To Incorporate RSS Feeds On Blogs?

Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a simple format that can be used either to receive updated content or to send content from one's website or web log (commonly referred to as "blog"). Its simple to use and various free resources are available on the net. Simply put, RSS is just like newspapers receiving content from news agencies like AP, Reuters, UNI etc. If you have an RSS feed on your webpage, you continue to get latest content provided it is updated by the provider or source.

To use RSS feeds, you must use a feed reader or "aggregator". One free and easy to use resource is provided by: www.rss-to-javascript.com . The following steps have to be followed:

1. Select the RSS feed you wish to place on your webpage. For this simply type "RSS [subject]" in any search box like Google, Yahoo, MSN etc. In place of "[subject]" write the name of the topic. Let us say, you typed "rss news". Then the search engine will display results for this keyword phrase. Select any result and look for the "red" button with the words "RSS" or "xml". Click on any red button of your choice. A page in "xml" script will open up. Do not bother about the page - simply copy the "url" in the browser window. That is the RSS feed.

2. The RSS feed has to be "read". Go to www.rss-to-javascript.com or any feed reader of your choice and paste it at the appropriate place. Select the options about font etc. or choose default settings. The feed reader gives you the JavaScript code.

3. Copy and paste the JavaScript code at any appropriate place on your website or blog using the edit menu.

4. Verify the feed's appearance etc. by visiting your website or blog

5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 till you are satisfied.

RSS feeds can be useful on your web pages to keep the visitor interested in the latest news or updates. It is recommended to use such feeds that belong to the same topic as your content pages so that the visitor gets updated articles, press reports etc. and may even like to bookmark your site. Take care to add "_blank" in the "Link Target" so that when the visitor clicks on any RSS feed, a new window gets opened. Before utilizing any free feed reader ensure that the feed is not for a limited period, otherwise, the feed will get terminated. One main disadvantage of JavaScript based feed readers is that search engine spiders or crawlers will not read the RSS content on your pages. So, it is essential you use this feature as a supplement for information to the visitor. Do not tamper with the JavaScript code.

Though on a blogger like Google you have a side-bar for RSS feeds, they pertain to certain topics only. For incorporating RSS feeds do the following:

1. On blogger.com (for example), go to: Posting > Create > Edit Html.

2. Paste the JavaScript code in the main body.

3. Give a suitable title in the "Title" box.

4. Add any content, if you wish.

5. Click on "Publish Post"

6. View your blog and modify settings, if you like.

I have deliberately not mentioned any technical gibberish to enable easy understanding.

Caution

Please do not include RSS feeds (i.e., other than those provided by the web host) on free web hosting pages like GeoCities etc. since it violates the terms of service.

PROBLOGGING: MAKING MONEY FROM BLOGS

PROBLOGGING: MAKING MONEY FROM BLOGS

A weblog (or simply blog) is a website that 'publishes' or features articles (which are called 'blog posts', 'posts', or 'entries'), written by an individual or a group that make use of any or a combination of the following:

· Straight texts · Photographs or images (photoblog) · Video (videoblog) · Audio files (audioblog) · Hyperlinks

Usually presented and arranged in reverse chronological order, blogs are essentially used for the following purposes:

· Online journal or a web diary · Content managament system · Online publishing platform

A typical blog has the following components:

· Post date -the date and time of the blog entry

· Category - the category that the blog belongs to

· Title - the title of the blog

· Main body - the main content of the blog

· RSS and trackback - links the blog back from other sites

· Comments - commentaries that are added by readers

· Permalinks - the URL of the full article

· Other optional items - calendar, archives, blogrolls, and add-ons or plug-ins

A blog can also have a footer, usually found at the bottom of the blog, that shows the post date, the author, the category, and the 'stats' (the nubmer of comments or trackbacks).

There are numerous types of blogs. Some of them are the following:

1. Political blog - on news, politics, activism, and other issue based blogs (such as campaigning).

2. Personal blog - also known as online diary that may include an individual's day-to-day experience, complaints, poems, and illicit thoughts, and communications between friends.

3. Topical blog - with focus either on a particular niche (function or position) that is usually technical in nature or a local information.

4. Health blog - on specific health issues. Medical blog is a major category of health blog that features medical news from health care professionals and/or actual patient cases.

5. Literary blog - also known as litblog.

6. Travel blog - with focus on a traveler's stories on a particular journey.

7. Research blog - on academic issues such as research notes.

8. Legal blog - on law (technical areas) and legal affairs; also known as 'blawgs'.

9. Media blog - focus on falsehoods or inconsistencies in mass media; usually exclusive for a newspaper or a television network.

10. Religious blog - on religious topics

11. Educational blog - on educational applications, usually written by students and teachers.

12. Collaborative or collective blog - a specific topic written by a group of people.

13. Directory blog - contains a collection of numerous web sites.

14. Business blog - used by entrepreneurs and corporate employees to promote their businesses or talk about their work.

15. Personification blog - focus on non-human being or objects (such as dogs).

16. Spam blogs - used for promoting affiliated websites; also known as 'splogs'.

Blogging is typically done on a regular (almost daily) basis. The term "blogging" refers to the act of authoring, maintaining, or adding an article to an existing blog, while the term "blogger" refers to a person or a group who keeps a blog.

Today, more than 3 million blogs can be found in the Internet. This figure is continuously growing, as the availability of various blog software, tools, and other applications make it easier for just about anyone to update or maintain the blog (even those with little or no technical background). Because of this trend, bloggers can now be categorized into 4 main types:

· Personal bloggers - people who focus on a diary or on any topic that an individual feels strongly about.

· Business bloggers - people who focus on promoting products and services.

· Organizational bloggers - people who focus on internal or external communication in an organization or a community.

· Professional bloggers - people who are hired or paid to do blogging.

Problogging (professional blogging) refers to blogging for a profit. Probloggers (professional bloggers) are people who make money from blogging (as an individual blog publisher or a hired blogger).

Below are just some of the many money-making opportunities for probloggers:

· Advertising programs · RSS advertising · Sponsorship · Affiliate Programs · Digital assets · Blog network writing gigs · Business blog writing gigs · Non blogging writing gigs · Donations · Flipping blogs · Merchandising · Consulting and speaking

The following are a few things that you need to consider if you want to be successful in problogging:

1. Be patient. Problogging requires a lot of time and effort, not to mention a long-term vision.

2. Know your audience. Targeting a specific audience or group is a key to building a readership.

3. Be an 'expert'. Focus on a specific niche topic and strive to be the "go-to" blogger on that topic.

4. Diversify. Experiment with various add and affiliate programs that enable you to make money online (aside from blogging).

5. Do not bore your readers. Focus on the layout. White spaces, line spacings, and bigger fonts make a blog welcoming to read.

Certainly, it is possible to earn money from blogs. One just needs to take risks, the passion, and the right attitude in order to be a successful problogger.

Yuwie The New Myspace Only It Pays...

There's a new social networking website, creeping up to popularity. It is eerily similar to MySpace, except that Yuwie actually pays it users to use it's features. From networking, to inviting friends, to blogging and personalizing your profile - you name the MySpace feature, Yuwie's got it. Here is my opinion on this new social networking site that has been around for about 2 months. Below are some of the many benefits of Yuwie, categorized for comparison to other social networking websites, such as MySpace.

Profile The Yuwie profile is very similar to that of MySpace, even with the same questions. However, on Yuwie, you are not required to fill in any info you'd rather not. Also, if you're into customizable profiles, any profile codes you use for MySpace will also work for Yuwie. Just go to any free profile design sites made for MySpace, find your code and copy/paste into your Yuwie profile, just as you would with MySpace.

Friends Just like on MySpace, you'll be able to add friends to your list. You choose whether to accept or deny when you get requests. I have found that on Yuwie, I get many more friend requests than on MySpace, which could prove beneficial for promotion or networking.

Comment Section Yes, there is even a comment section on the Yuwie profile. Use this to communicate with your Yuwie friends, such as telling them to have a great day or thanking for something . Unless a friend requires moderated comments, your comments will show up instantly.

Blog If you enjoy blogging, you can also do so on Yuwie. The Yuwie blog also allows html code, so for those who are html savvy, you are covered at Yuwie.

Bulletins You can still post bulletins at Yuwie, just like at MySpace. Bulletins are an easy way of announcing something to your entire friends list, without having to mail each one individually. The only downside to Yuwie bulletins is that html is not allowed. It is allowed on MySpace. However, html is allowed everywhere else on Yuwie, so many don't really mind this.

Clubs Just like on MySpace, clubs can be created on Yuwie. Maybe you'd like to create a writer's club, a mom's club, or a club for fans of your favorite singer or sports team. Whatever you have in mind, you can create a club on Yuwie. I have noticed that with Yuwie, people were quicker to join my clubs than on MySpace. I'm not sure why yet, but it is nice.

Control Panel Yes, unlike MySpace, Yuwie has an easy to navigate control panel. It is similar to "home" on MySpace. However, all your features are right there together, making it much easier to figure out what to do and how to do it. Just by adding this feature alone, Yuwie has one up on MySpace because for those who have a hard time navigating the computer, all the options are right there and easy to understand.

Payment Payment? Yes, payment. Unlike other social networking sites, Yuwie actually pays people use its features. That's right. So, you're essentially getting paid to hang out with your Yuwie friends, which could very well be your same friends that you hang out with in "real" life or on MySpace. In order to increase payment, users should frequently comment on and view others' profiles and also refer others to Yuwie. All of these earn Yuwie views and referrals which can later be redeemed for payment once you have earned enough.

Total Success. Make Money Online Blogging.

For today, if you did't hear what blog is, it means that you are the alien or you live in jungle. :) Imagine, you are living in offline and even don't know about another world, which bears in itself fascinating travel to the world of self-realization, popularity and well-being.

The world of blogosphere growing day by day. One sight on this list is enough to understand that personal blogs are one of the most visiting pages on Internet. Everything that I can tell is that the second man from this list earn from his blog about $18′000 per month. Yes, John Chow is guru in this area. But there are also people, who are in shadow like Steve Pavlina (his income is more than $40′000). How could it be helpful for us, beginners?

The answer is obvious: we got to learn on their experience. And know what - it will bring us much more dividends than to them. According to statistics of eMarketer, spending on contextual advertising in US has grown from $108 million in 2000 to $6′522 million in 2006. Every year in Las Vegas the conference of domain marketers is spent. This year Mike Zapollin, the founder of Internet Real Estate Group told, that there is no sense to sell domain names because today's 20-cent click could easily become a $20 click in the future as the value of targeted traffic becomes recognized by advertisers.

Figures speak for themselves. If today advertising could bring 10 dollars, from couple years it could bring 100 dollars. Do you still have any doubts about the sense of blogging? People, who are now making money from their blogs, began to earn from couple hundreds. Today they are fully independent and could even presume to itself purchases of houses and good sports cars.

Ok. What are the rules of successful blogger? If you don't know how to create blog and the first step after its creating, read my TO DO List. But first look at these rules.

1. Find your niche. You have to write about what you like and what you know. But I'll be a liar if I'll tell you that it is enough. You also have to find your style of writing. The content of your blog could be useful, but it could be not interesting to read. I want to tell you that your blog will not read many people from the start and it's promotion is not easy way too. Only experiments with your writing style could approach you to your blogging success.

2. Check your keywords. Many Blog Gurus telling that search engine optimization doesn't need us. But the competition is growing and we have to think about every aspect for success. I know it by my own experience. I didn't do any optimization from the start and now, the keyword "megaerotic video", always brings me visitors from Yahoo on my "Make Money Online with Adult Blog" post...!

That's why choose your keywords clever and insert them in title and text of your posts. Overture will help you in this

3. Write posts everyday. There are as minimum as two reasons for this.

First, if people will like your blog, they will comeback, but if you write once a week and anyone could not see anything during 6 days, your visitors will be disappointed and will forget about you. Second, you have to write as often as you can because of search engine robots. As we can see, recently, Google tries to improve the algorithms of indexing in favour of a new qualitative content instead of links ranging. That's why, if indexing robots will see fresh content on your blog every day, Google will give your blog more trust and popularity.

Just write everyday during the year and you will see what will happens. Result will be in any case.

4. Great title is the key to success. And again, on my own experience, I convinced, that the title of post is more important than its text. Even if you do not have a good idea about what to write, just think about good title and thoughts will come to your head immediately.

5. Choose your way of blog promotion. In ideal, it will be the best if you'll use all ways of promotion. But I understand that it is much more easy to say than to do. That's why choose one of the ways of promotion like social bookmarking, link baiting, press releases, reviews and forum promotion. I wrote about all these ways earlier.

These are the general rules to become successful blogger. Of course there are many blogging tactics, but it is for you to choose. The main moments you are already know.

BLOGGING TIPS - The Ultimate Blogging Tips

THE ULTIMATE BLOGGING TIPS

Here, I'm going to make them as simple as possible, as straight forward as possible. So here are The Ultimate Blogging Tips :

1. Simple Blog Design I believe you've heard this phrase before, "Simply The Best". So you got it, make your blog as simple as possible. The only thing you should pay more attention to is your content. Write something that is very informative and you will eventually get the traffic you wish for. If your blog design is too complicated, most of the visitors will feel messy about your blog then you will waste your traffic. Plain simple design will be the best.

2. Your Content Is King Always remember this. In blogging sphere, content is the most important ingredient if you want toPublish Post success in blogs. Why are people visits your blog? Because your blog has got information they're looking for. If you don't have anything that can attract visitors, then there will be no reasons for them to come to your blog. Here is what you can do about your content. Try to use a appearing colour for your content compare with all the other words outside of your content. You want to make your content easy to read and stand out. Dull font options will make your visitors difficult to read. This is especially true if your post is very long and full of words. Visitors are not going to read something that is very long and difficult to read. So you get my point here.

3. Use Less Techie Widgets Its nice to have a high tech widget stay in your sidebar. But if they're too much, then your visitors might attracted to them and follow the link to other sites. This is what you don't want. Besides that, using too much high tech widgets will make your blog loads slower. Again, you may lost visitors due to this reason. It is not that you can't use any of them, but my suggestion is, use less. Don't let your widgets eat up your traffic.

4. Make Your Blog As Professional As Possible You can achieve this via many ways. One of them is use a standard font size and colour for all the words in your blog. For example, use blue colour to indicate links. In the world of internet, everyone knows that blue means link. As for your title and sub title, you can also standardized the colour. Do not use all different colour, they will look confusing and unprofessional.

5. Repeat Your Best Posts You may want to repeat your best post, but in a different manner. I'm not asking you to repost the same thing exactly. You can stress back again with your best post in your blog. Some visitors might miss your best post. You want people to read about your best right, so this will be it. However, don't keep on doing this though. Or else your visitors may think that you don't have any other topics to write.

So here are all the tips for now. To your success.

Attractive Enhancements For Your Blog

Deciding on a blog design solution and implementing it is certainly a sound business decision and should reward the online web site owner with a vast amount of traffic as well as paying customers. Creating a blog is simple, painless, and easy to maintain. Popular blogging sites like WordPress and Blogger offer personalized services, numerous template designs, friendly search engine rankings, and helpful tutorials. Taking advantage of these opportunistic offerings should be a component of any successful online business venture. However, there is more to a blog than simply setting it up, performing routine maintenance, and providing periodic entries. Potential customers and visitors need to have good reasons for visiting your blog and remain as regular loyalists. Several enhancements to a blog can entice and deliver more web surfers when used effectively.

One enhancement that should be seriously considered is the use of video clips. Written text is obviously important and it's the cornerstone of any blog, but adding the occasional video clip can only serve to magnify an online web site's existence. Stephanie Collen, an online business marketer for a major clothing firm, describes the changes when video was introduced to the retailer's site. "Our site was text driven with many pictures and it seemed to be working effectively. When we added video clips to the mix, the results were amazing. A thirty-seven percent increase in traffic and sales rose by twenty-one percent. Video clips are here to stay at our site". Video supplies and software can be found at many places on the internet.

Another blogging business tip involves the use of audio clips and should be another feature for your blog. Collen also suggests using audio as an enhancement for your blog. "When we added video to the site, audio clips were phased out. Many customers complained and the audio section was restored much to their delight. We quickly learned that sound bites sell and never go out of style. It will continue to be a part of our marketing". Adding a few audio clips at opportune spaces on your blog will increase traffic flow and yield new customers. Audio equipment, supplies, and software can also be found at many places on the internet.

If the aforementioned enhancements are too much for your budget at this time, consider using pictures as a tool for driving more visitors to your site. Visual enhancements can sell far better than text only and is appealing to virtually every visitor. Also, if you have a blogging site such as 360 Blog Yahoo, Blogger, or WordPress, you can insert custom-made graphics . Graphics and photo editing software can easily be found with an internet search. Be sure to use the tools that meet your standards.

A blog design solution that incorporates stunning enhancements will make every blogging experience a rewarding endeavor. By using video, audio, and graphical improvements, your online business blog will witness a surge in visitors and customers.

Google Crawlers and Stray Cats

A favorite topic that I write about is advice for small business website owners to add fresh content often for the benefit of their visitors. Those visitors include search engine crawlers, and the search engine optimization value is enhanced by adding new content frequently. A small business blog is the perfect way to create new site content, and making a post once a week may give you an edge over your competition.

Consider how many of your small business competitors have a blog. The majority do not. If you are a blogger, a weekly post could be the key advantage beating out the competition and attracting new prospects to your website.

Let's compare Google crawlers and stray cats with this fun analogy to illustrate the value of providing visitors with tidbits of advice compared to seeing a stray cat near your home and tossing it a small chunk of steak. Do it again each night for 2-3 days. Skip a day and do it again and eventually that cat will come back every day even if you toss the scrap of steak once a week. Search engines are no different. Fresh content, no matter how small, attracts search engines to your site more often.

Here's an example of the value of posting fresh blog content often. Search Google for tips shooting Moose+Maine and view results. As of the date this article was published, my personal blog was listed #3 and #4 on Google page one out of 353,000 results. It may be different as you read this, yet my Growin' Up in Maine bog is probably still on page one. Here's an explanation of why the results were exceptional which may relate to your small business website or blog because that personal site hasn't been around very long.

The storytelling blog was a test site for customizing templates and graphics for the new Blogger, and after a couple of weeks my plan was to scrap it. The topic is childhood stories and it ended up being fun, so I kept it online. The Google page one search results for the moose tips happened when the blog was less than 6 months old, yet by adding new posts at least once a week the new content attracted search engines with high ranking, and perhaps an occasional stray cat.

What's the moral of this story? Get in the habit of feeding Google crawlers once a week and your valuable posts with advice and expert small business content may just give you an edge. If your competition does not have a blog, the search engines are more likely to favor you and drive traffic your way.

Tip: Do not use your small business blog for personal posts with off topic subjects like your vacation, a great restaurant, or anything unrelated to your site theme. While perhaps cute, unrelated content may dilute search results when people search for your real product or service.

The most common mistake I see in new small business blogs is a lack of discipline, and misunderstanding of the true value of posting often. Some owners launch a blog and become distracted with day to day activities that bring immediate income. This is necessary from a tactical standpoint. Revenue means survival. However, blogging needs to become a habit in order to enjoy the strategic long term benefits. Post weekly and the value will continue to grow over time.

Writing may not be fun for you. It may not be your top priority. Once you make blog posting a routine, you may be amazed that writing actually becomes easier each time. Looking back at my posts I can see how the style and slant of my advice has evolved and improved. It can for you, too, and the seo or search engine optimization value makes the effort worthwhile, so do it.

In conclusion, the Google crawlers are no different than that stray cat. Feed them quality content often and they are certain to come back to reward you with results based on your contributions. Previous articles I wrote may help you jump start your blog and get over writers block, too.

Here's some final advice. Search using quote marks for "Small Business Blog Integration Advice" or "Small Business Blog Writing Tips" to find these articles I wrote that are published in a number of article directories. Blogging for small business is worth your time because it is a low cost way to add new content often with significant seo benefits to follow.

THE ULTIMATE BLOGGING TIPS (PART 2)

6. Always Ping After Posting This is what you need to do after every posts. Remember, always ping your blog. This is to make sure that search engine spider will always crawl your blog after you've updated it. Search engines like sites that are always updated. Therefore you must 'ask' the crawler to crawl your blog regularly. This will also help you improve your ranking in search engine. A site which always updated is will rank higher than a site that seldom update. This will also help you tell your subscribed readers that you've publish a new post. You can ping your blog here at Ping-o-Matic!

7. On Page optimization You can do this very easily. You can bold of italic your keywords that you want to optimize for in every of your posts. This is a strategy to that can help you increase your ranking in search engine. For example, if you are targeting keywords like make more money online, then you can bold those words. Just like what I did here in my blog. Although on page optimization is less important than off page optimization (Number of links). But on page optimization still is a factor that will affect your search engine ranking. This is a very simple step that you can take. So be sure to bold or italic your keywords in your blog content. There are still many other on page optimization you could do, but this is for now.

8. Update Your Blog Regularly I believe you've heard this over and over again. But since this is also consider as a blogging tips, so I included it here in The Ultimate Blogging Tips. You know, a blog is something like a diary, just that it is in electronic form. A diary is something that you should write down everyday, so goes for blogs. You should always publish new posts in your blog. The best is everyday, but if you're busy, then go for at least 5 posts a week. This is what most people do with their blogs, post regularly. If you don't have any topics to write on, simply use the search engines or any article directories to look for your topics. But don't copy other people's content. Just the rough idea, and write with your own words.

9. Include An "About" Section I've stress about this in my previous post, 10 Common Blogging Mistakes. In fact, all the points in that post can be insert here. Why do you need an "About" section? Very simple, you want your readers to know more about you. And if you're promoting products in your blog, a brief profile of yourself will definitely increase the credibility of your blog and products. Readers and visitors will trust your products more if they know more about you, right? By the way, you can consider including your photo in your blog as well. I'm going to make this short, because you can read the rest here, in 10 Common Blogging Mistakes.

10. Use Simple Language A blog is site, a more user-friendly site. And if you tell your friends about your blog, the first thing goes into their mind is that they will think that your blog is about your personal life. Most people don't know that blogs can be use for money making purposes. So, what I'm going to tell you is that, because content will be your main reason why visitors coming to your blog. Therefore you should have a friendly content, write using simple language. You want to be friend with your readers, and not those buyers-sellers relation. Don't make your blog too formal, a warm friendly feeling blog is a good blog. So you get me, write in plain language just like you always talk to your friends. It will be even better if you can write in those language that a 7 year-old child can understand you. This will make sure that your readers understand what you're going to tell them.

A blog, just like any other website, needs to be promoted in order to drive traffic to your blog and to get people to read what you are posting everyday! Please take note that writing comments could make or break your blog reputation. If you write useful and creative comments that would actually spark some interest in other readers, then this will help your blog traffic but if you were to go in and just add things like "I agree" or "great post" or worst some comment that is going to cause huge conflicts, then this could be very bad for your reputation and your blog traffic! 10) Place your blog on all major search engines. To do a free submission, go to http://addme.com/submission.htm , http://submitexpress.com, http://submitfire.com

14) If you have a website, then most certainly add a link to your blog on every single page of your website as you never know which page a visitor will land on your site.

15) And just as you should write articles everyday to promote your blog, you should make it a point to blog everyday. Make Money with Google Adsense

You’ve probably heard a lot about Google AdSense, but you may not know just what it is. Well, for one thing, it’s a one of the hottest new ways to earn money online without having to do a whole lot.If you’ve read Robert Kiyosaki’s book, “Rich Dad, Poor Dad,” you know that passive income is the best kind of income to have.Passive income is money you earn without having to work for it.I know this may sound like some kind of “pie in the sky” get-rich-quick scheme, but passive income is for real.In fact, every single billionaire on earth uses the power of passive income to keep money coming in while he or she jets off to parties and resorts and such.
Well, Google Adsense is the online equivalent of that. You’ll have to invest just a little bit of time in learning about it, but once you get it set up you can look forward to seeing those nice checks roll in. Or, if you’re totally online, seeing money flow into your PayPal account.
So Just What is Google Adsense?
Google AdSense (click here for
Google Adsense Secrets) is a fast and absolutely ridiculously easy way for people with websites of all types and sizes to put up and display relevant Google ads on the content pages of their site and earn money.
Because the Google AdSense ads relate to what your visitors came to your site to read about, or because the ads match up to the interests and characteristics of the kind of people your content attracts, you now h
ave a way to improve your content pages AND earn serious money off of them.
Google AdSense is also a way for site owners to provide Google search capability to visitors and to earn even more money by putting Google ads on the search results pages. Google AdSense gives you the ability to earn advertising revenue from every single page on your website—with a minimal investment of your time.
So what kind of ads do you have to put up? That’s the good part—you don’t have to decide. Google does it for you. AdSense alw
ays delivers relevant ads that are precisely targeted—on a page-by-page basis—to the content that people find on your site. For example, if you have a page that tells the story of your pet fish, Google will send you ads for that site that are for pet stores, fish food, fish bowls, aquariums…you get the picture - and you earn money.
If you decide you want to add a Google search box to your site, then AdSense will deliver relevant ads targeted to the Google search results pages that your visitors’ search request generated - and you earn money.

Here’s the thing you need to know: Google has no strict criteria for acceptance into the AdSense program, and Ad Sense doesn’t hit you with a minimum traffic requirement. The only criteria they’re really sticky about is the standard “acceptable content” requirements, and that’s pretty standard almost anywhere.
Google AdSense says they’re serious about attracting quality content sites, and because of that they only allow AdSense members to serve a maximum of three ads per page. This means you can use AdSense for both banners and skyscrapers to earn money.(Note: banners are those horizontal ads that run up top and down bottom. Skyscrapers are the tall ads that run vertically, on the left and right of your page text.)
Once you’ve been accepted into Google AdSense, you’ll be able to get the AdSense advertisements on any site you own using the same ad code, provided you obey the Google guidelines. (And that’s very, very important—more on that later.)

Your reporting doesn’t occur in real time, but is updated regularly throughout the day. Right now, you can’t view reports based on a domain or site basis if you run the AdSense on more than one site. You can however use channels to follow up CTR’s, so if implemented correctly, you will be able to follow up how much money you earn on domains and sites as well.
After putting the code on your blog the ad will be displayed like this:

Before you sign up, you really ought to read the lengthy and detailed FAQ on the AdSense site.

Black Sabbath Paranoid Video

Lyrics:

Finished with my woman
'Cause she couldn't help me with my mind
People think I'm insane
Because I am frowning all the time

All day long I think of things
But nothing seems to satisfy
Think I'll lose my mind
If I don't find something to pacify

Can you help me occupy my brain?
Oh yeah!

I need someone to show me
The things in life that I can't find
I can't see the things that make true happiness
I must be blind

Make a joke and I will sigh
And you will laugh and I will cry
Happiness I cannot feel
And love to me is so unreal

And so as you hear these words
Telling you now of my state
I tell you to enjoy life
I wish I could but it's too late

Creating The Unique Blog

The blogging phenomenon continues to grow after "weblogging" was introduced more than ten years ago. The blogging craze now includes the popular photography site Photobucket with their ever growing Photobucket Blog. The concept is a simple one - you can create a Photobucket blog that is embedded with your favorite pictures. These blogs contain pictures from your family vacation, a social gathering, formal functions, and can even include your marketing ventures. While some may be quick to dismiss the possibility of using such a site for an online business presence, it can, in fact, bring a whole new set of specifically targeted customers to your web site. Using this blog's personalized approach and with your unique marketing skills, there is no need to resemble a "blogger tech geek" at Photobucket. Such a service affords the internet business owner to take a much more relaxed focus to acquiring a new set of customers.Blogging certainly helps with SEO and internet marketing with sites like Wordpress and Blogger for your blog design solution, but a Photobucket Blog can reach an entirely new audience and clientele. Countless thousands use Photobucket's services each day and their blogging community continues to grow and expand. Too, you can take the opportunity to post responses at various Photobucket blogs and provide backlinks to your web site. While other web site owners are concentrating on the well-known blog sites for their blog design solution (and these services should be used too, of course), you can be one of the few who should summon the power of a Photobucket blog to generate your business to new heights.Another advantage of using a Photobucket blog for your online business comes from knowing that you can attract a targeted audience of potential customers. For example, if your web site is dedicated to digital cameras, then your likelihood to attract members of Photobucket is certainly increased as compared to using a traditional blogging service. Again, there is no need to have a "blogger tech geek" mentality when you are amongst a sizable group of like-minded individuals who would obviously frequent your Photobucket blog on a continual basis.Having a blog design solution that benefits your web site is a sound business principle, but having a Photobucket blog can only increase your ability to attract a growing customer base. By employing this method to your marketing schemes, your online business will continue to grow and prosper as you seek to gain new growth each day.
